My pursuit of design was initiated by a motivation to make information around sustainability more easily understood.
This motivation came to me in whilst studying in the first year of an Environmental Management degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I realised effective communication of key information around environmental issues was key to encouraging environmentally-conscious behaviour change.
I left this degree after the first year to study Information & Interface Design, in order to develop my visual communication skills. However, whilst still in Manchester I joined the Carbon Literacy Project in 2018 for an internship, producing infographic content to be used across their work.
Here are examples of infographics produced to form a visual A-Z glossary of key terms that form the basis of their work in communicating information around climate change.
Below is an infographic produced to encapsulate key information about the Carbon Literacy Project, formatted for & posted on Twitter.
